At Bodega Bijou we love bold, colourful, contemporary illustration created by diverse voices, with an emphasis on affordable art: prints, greetings cards, posters, original drawings and sketches, enamel pins, vinyl stickers and illustrated merch. If you are a contemporary illustrator, a zine creator, urban/street, tattoo or comic artist, animation or games concept artist, printmaker or graphic designer then chances are our customers will be super into what you love to create too...
As we head into 2021 there will be two, bi-annual group exhibitions at Bodega Bijou which will take place for around six months each in Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter. And we also have our upcoming “New Talent” Showcase which you can participate in too!
During every show we work hard to promote and sell the work of our illustrators whilst also helping them get a new exhibition credit on their C.V. And every season we seek out, highlight and amplify an emerging, marginalized voice in illustration too. Most importantly, we want to put the profits from your art sales back into your pocket. That's why we only take 10% commission from any of your sales.
Become part of our growing community of illustrators, rack up some serious exhibition credits on your artist bio, and sell your work in the heart of the high street five days per week in your own dedicated space at our gallery in Falmouth, Cornwall, U.K.
Simply upload a sample illustration you have created with your order, and checkout. At the checkout you can also download our Artist Guidebook, which contains all the information you need to prepare for the show. If we think our customers will go crazy for your illustrations then you're all booked in... welcome to the next Show!
Once you have been verified and your order is confirmed, exhibition space bookings are non-refundable and non-exchangeable (ie: you can't buy a space and then give it to your mate to use) so please make sure you are really serious about selling your work and exhibiting to the public. Please read our guidelines HERE before committing to purchasing your space. We prefer to give Exhibition Spaces to artists who live, work or study in Cornwall or the South West of the U.K. because you MUST be able to travel to the gallery to hang and collect your work, and restock if your work sells.
