I work mainly in the traditional mediums of charcoal, graphite, coloured pencil and gouache, and am as interested in the behaviour of materials as much as the subject.
My background is in architecture, working as an Architectural Technician in Bristol until in 2012 when I decided to concentrate on my own artistic practice. I studied BA Illustration at UWE followed by MA Illustration: Authorial Practice in Falmouth. I am currently based in Penzance.“
Bamboo is a natural, sustainable and environmentally friendly white paper made from 90% bamboo fibres and 10% cotton, resulting in warm-tones without optical brighteners.
The paper is acid and Lignin-free, which meets the requirements of an age resistant paper and is printed on pre-cut sheets using an inkjet, 12 colour Giclée print process, providing in-depth reproduction of colours and fine details.
