Fern is an illustrator and visual storyteller based in Thailand. Brought up in a polluted city, Fern’s yearn for an escape of the concrete confinement, to reconnect with the wilderness through mark-making and telling stories. Once a digital artist and photographer, Fern weave her skills with her soft and intricate graphite marks and the subtle and delicate lines of colour pencils, bringing life to dreams and fantasy, myths and magic. Fern’s recent projects include a purely visual graphic novel: Daze, and an upcoming workshop at an eco-fair. She’s currently working on an Ecofable as part of her MA graduating project.

The Earth is dying as the greed in the Kalas' heart grows; burned forests, saturated oceans and smoked sky. The witches are the Kalas who have regained their ecological awareness and shunned by the others for they are different from the rest of the Kalas.
Bamboo is a natural, sustainable and environmentally friendly white paper made from 90% bamboo fibres and 10% cotton, resulting in warm-tones without optical brighteners.
The paper is acid and Lignin-free, which meets the requirements of an age resistant paper and is printed on pre-cut sheets using an inkjet, 12 colour Giclée print process, providing in-depth reproduction of colours and fine details.
