Clementine Neild is a multi-disciplinary illustrator working across traditional printmaking, collage, oil painting and digital illustration (sometimes all at the same time) to create thoughtful images full of movement and energy.
Working straight onto a plate or board without initial drawings brings an element of surprise that allows mistakes and marks to guide her images. She says of her work: “I can see the image in my mind and I'm always fascinated by how this is translated by my hands. I never under estimate how beautiful simple marks or mistakes can be.”
Bamboo is a natural, sustainable and environmentally friendly white paper made from 90% bamboo fibres and 10% cotton, resulting in warm-tones without optical brighteners.
The paper is acid and Lignin-free, which meets the requirements of an age resistant paper and is printed on pre-cut sheets using an inkjet, 12 colour Giclée print process, providing in-depth reproduction of colours and fine details.
